PENDER COUNTY, NC (WWAY) — A man wanted for first degree murder in West Virginia was arrested in Pender County on Friday.

On Saturday, May 6th, off-duty Lieutenant Bryant with the New Hanover County Sheriff’s Office was shopping for groceries at the Food Lion located in Pender County. While shopping, the Sheriff’s Office says Bryant noticed a man in the store that looked familiar. After observing the man briefly, Lt.
